Welcome to Rafn Signals. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at https://rafnsignals.ca, including any content, functionality, digital products, and services offered through the site (collectively, the “Services”).

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

 

1. Who We Are

Rafn Signals is a design and marketing agency operated by P. Rafn Hansen, a sole proprietor registered in Canada.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Use the Services for lawful purposes
  • Provide accurate and complete information when requested

You may not use our Services if you are barred under applicable law.

 

3. Accounts & Access

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity under your account
  • Notifying us of unauthorized access immediately

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used inappropriately.

 

4. Use of Services

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Engage in illegal, abusive, or fraudulent behaviour
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Upload viruses, malware, or harmful content
  • Interfere with or disrupt our platform or networks

We reserve the right to investigate and take legal action for any misuse of the Services.

 

5. Payments & Billing

All paid services and products are processed securely via WooCommerce and Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the applicable fees.

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Refunds

Refund policies, if applicable, will be stated on the product or service page. Custom work, including design retainers or consulting packages, are typically non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the website—including text, graphics, logos, designs, and software—is the property of Rafn Signals or its licensors and protected under Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute any site content
  • Resell or reuse design files or deliverables without express written permission
 

7. Client Deliverables

Client files and project materials may be exchanged via secure file-sharing platforms (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive). You are responsible for backing up your own files. We will make reasonable efforts to retain project materials, but are not liable for accidental loss after project completion.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Rafn Signals retains a license to display completed work in portfolios or marketing materials, excluding sensitive or confidential data.

 

8. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party platforms like:

  • Google Analytics, Google Drive, MailPoet, Stripe, and WooCommerce

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party actions, outages, or data practices.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rafn Signals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to:

  • Your use (or inability to use) our Services
  • Any unauthorized access or use of your data
  • Any third-party links or services

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months preceding any claim.

 

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or other unlawful behaviour. You may cancel your account or services at any time, subject to any applicable fees or contractual commitments.

 

11. Privacy

Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the data practices outlined there.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, unless both parties agree to alternative dispute resolution.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post any changes on this page and, if significant, notify you by email or through your account. Continued use of the Services means you accept the revised Terms.
